Twitter announced on Wednesday that it is currently testing a new feature that allows users to view personal accounts of other users without leaving the timeline.
The company explained the way it works: "Once you click on any user in a tweet, you can have a look, then follow."
With the steady decline in the number of active Twitter users per month, dropping by 5 million to 321 million users, the company seems to be trying to encourage users to follow others.
Now Users can read replies to a tweet and find out what they like about it. They may choose to follow the owner of this tweet without having to leave the thread.
