Merging Whatapp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram
Facebook recently revealed that it will integrate WhatsApp , Messenger and Instagram in order to allow users to communicate across platforms. Facebook acquired Instagram service in 2012, and WhatsApp in 2014, making this move possible.
The new infrastructure allow users to chat with each other, regardless of the platform used, the project is still under development, and Facebook needs at least a year to integrate the application infrastructure.
