Insta 360 has announced the launch of the first folding camera to capture 360 degrees or 180-degree 3D images.
The company, which specializes in the production of 360-degree cameras, said that the new Evo camera has a folding design and allows the user to switch between two modes.
Insta360 VR enables users to connect common VR glasses such as the Go VR, HTC Vive Focus or Samsung Gear VR with the Eva 360 camera wirelessly then operate the camera in 3D mode.
The new Insta 360 Evo dimensions when folded are 50.3 x 52.5 x 49 mm, weighing 113 grams, and when unfolded, the dimensions are 49.4 x 49.3 x 26.3 mm. The images are taken with 18 megapixel resolution (6080 x 3040 pixels).
The new Insta 360 Evo includes built-in 6-axis gyroscope sensors, and with the FlowState image stabilization function, you can get still images even while you're moving, and you can play videos or view photos on any virtual reality glasses.
The expected price of the new Evo camera price is about 420 US dollars.
