Folding phone from Sharp
The field of folding phones is witnessing heated competition between tech giants such as Samsung and Huawei, and Sharp is entering the track by a new innovation that will change the industry.
While the folding phones are limited to products that turn into tablet PCs like the Galaxy fold and Mate X, Sharp unveiled a prototype for a small foldable phone.
The new Sharp device will come with an Omled 6.18" screen that is fold-able from the middle. The screen has a 3040 x 1440 pixels screen resolution.
The new screen has been tested and folded 300,000 times, making it last up to 8.2 years.
According to Sharp , the commercial version of the phone may be ready in years, although it may change the final design of the Phone.
